Truly a piece of paradise. We have been here for three months and simply love it This is the best condo we have rented so far The staff is kind and very helpful. The views here are fantastic This is been a very pleasurable stay and we thank Micheline for allowing us to stay. We love it so much we are extending four more months

I lived in it for two months. Very nice apartment, location, nice, cozy, clean. The hosts are wonderful and kind people. I really liked it. I will definitely come there again.

We had arranged for pick up at the airport with a 1/2 hour stop at grocery store for $40. Arranged with property management. This was well worth it. Our flight was delayed but our taxi driver was still there patiently waiting for us. His English wasn't the best but we have been to the DR before and are able to communicate small talk. When we got to the property, Management walked us over to our Villa. What a beautiful place! We had everything we NEEDED to enjoy our time (except a BBQ brush but from reading the previous review it seems maybe it was taken out of the villa in error. No big deal...) We had 2 safes we could use, air conditioning, washing machine (which worked great), dishwasher (we did not use we do our own dishes). There was a big binder with all kinds of information on restaurants or tours to do in Cabarete as well as a guest book to sign. Everything worked fine in the villa. Power did go out a few times but only lasted a couple of minutes each time. This villa is on the main floor, the bedroom is near the parking lot and yes you can hear some of the local traffic however this did not bother us at all if air is on you hear nothing.The pool & ocean is a short walking distance which i found very convenient. The property & villa were very well maintained. Actually after walking the beach i really thought the Victoria Condo was one of the best maintained property on the beach. Bright and colorful, nice palm trees etc..It is a very quiet place with few other tourist where you can choose to chat with or you can keep to yourself and not feel obligated to make new friends. The choice is yours. Property managers were on site however never bothered us unless we had questions. We tried to locate Martini's by the beach but the sign was small and we missed it. It is about a 5 minute walk to the right of the beach, if you take the road go left... nice place to enjoy a drink and great food! We did walk to town for groceries at Janet's ( we had brought a small back pack cooler) the walk was about 15 minutes and we enjoyed it. Not much room on sidewalk. We went out in the evening and walked home at dark around 10 pm. We didn't feel that our safety was at risk however there isn't much lighting therefore i suggest you take a taxi to return home. I loved this little villa, great price, nice view and perfect place to relax. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We do plan on returning in few years and looking forward to relax time!

We stayed at this condo for 2 weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is ideal as it is far enough from the city centre, yet within a walking distance. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and had comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well equipped for those who want to cook. I appreciated having the blender for making fruit smoothies. We spent a lot of time relaxing and lounging in the patio where we can hear the waves of the ocean. Very relaxing! The staff at the condo were very friendly and helpful! Micheline was great to deal with. She answered all of my enquiries promptly. Overall it was a great experience and definitely would go back again. I highly recommend this condo!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at Victorian in K-1. I spent so much time on the patio....napping, eating, reading and enjoying the view. K-1 has everything you need. Books, movies, enough kitchen accessories and appliances. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at K-1. Micheline is responsive and friendly and answered many questions I had, before I asked. An all around OUTSTANDING experience!! And the staff...top notch!! I traveled to the DR alone and I felt safe ALWAYS during my stay at the Victorian.
