Welcome to Veranda Beach House! We endeavour to do everything we can to make your stay a happy, safe and memorable one. For those who have not stayed with us before, here are a few Guidelines:
Ø Craigston is a quiet residential area and Guests are asked to remember that Parties and loud music are not permitted. Please help us to ensure that all is quiet after 9pm.
Ø Electricity on the island is expensive and Guests are reminded to turn off fans, lights and other appliances when not in use. Please turn off all exterior and breezeway lights when you go out or to bed.
Ø There are no rivers or water supplies on the island; the Veranda water supply is thrice-filtered captured rainwater and limited to a large cistern under the house. Guests are therefore reminded to save water wherever possible especially in the dry season and to turn faucets/taps fully off when not in use.
Ø Please remember to close the gates to the property: goats, sheep and cows roam the area and will destroy the garden in just a few minutes if allowed to enter! We also have some garden tortoises which will escape if a gate is left open.
Ø Smoking is not permitted.
Ø Hot water is solar heated and can get very hot! Please take care to test the water temperature of the shower or taps before use.
Ø The use of drones is not permitted on the Estate.
Please do not hesitate to let us know of anything that would help to make your stay more comfortable. We are here to help with special requests either about the island or about the house and garden.

We had a fantastic stay at Veranda. The house was even better than the photos and the view is spectacular! Will certainly be looking to book again when we return to Carriacou.
The Veranda Beach House is such a lovely house, it was very confortable and the view was simply amazing. We had a wonderful time in Carriacou and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay at! The house was very clean, we found everything we needed and Sally was always very responsive before and during the trip! I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone traveling to Carriacou.
It takes a lot of work to get to the island from the United States But I thought Sally’s place was well worth the effort. I will definitely be going back Thank you for being such a incredible hostess Sally.
This place has the most incredible views in Carriacou!! it was our first time on the island and loved every minute of it. We called Froggys reef tours (Sally recommended) and had an amazing time exploring all the little surrounding islands. After our tour Froggy dropped us right out front on the beachfront steps up to the house! So cool! We’d love to come back. Thanks Sally & Steve!
