This grand 7-bedroom Georgian style villa is located on the top ridge of the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate on the West Coast of Barbados. Aurora offers an elegant setting complete with lavish décor throughout and combines indoor and outdoor spaces to create the perfect villa for your Barbados vacation.
Aurora features 7 grand bedrooms spread over three floors, each bedroom features air-conditioning, sitting areas and ensuite bathrooms. The master suite is the only bedroom on the top floor and features a patio that offers uninterrupted views of the gardens and ocean beyond. 5 bedrooms are located on the main floor offering views of the pool and garden areas, respectively. The 7th bedroom is located on the lower level and features an outside garden terrace perfect for enjoying a coffee before heading down to the beach. Aurora can be rented as either a 5, 6 or 7 bedroom home making it the perfect option for large families, groups of friends or even a Barbados yoga retreat.
Upon entering Aurora, you are taken in by the villa's spacious living room and high ceilings which flow through to the large patio, outside dining and pool deck areas. Guests can also enjoy the media room which is fully airconditioned and offers a space for family to wind down after a long day of activities. Aurora is designed with being active and outside in mind, the large mosaic-tiled swimming pool is perfect for some laps in the morning, have a game on the private tennis court before heading down to the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach Club. The Beach Club offers guests complimentary beach loungers, sun umbrellas while they enjoy a drink from the bar and do a little celebrity spotting on the famous Sandy Lane Beach.
With its ideal location guests at Aurora can also enjoy dinner in Holetown at Fusion Rooftop, drinks at Lone Star Restaurant or some fresh seafood at The Fish Pot followed by a night cap at Sea Shed in Mullins. For the more adventurous our concierge can arrange a track day at Bushy Park Racetrack, Jet Skis at The Beach Club, or a walking tour of Harrisons Cave. No Barbados holiday would be complete without a round of golf at the renowned Sandy Lane Golf Club, tee off with your friends and start making some ‘hole-in-one’ memories.

The home, the locale and the staff are all extrodinary. Stayed here with a total of 8 guests. Rooms were magnifiscent, we cancelled two of our dinner reservations because the home cooked meals were so fantastic. We all would come back in a heart beat. Thanks to The staff for making our trip so memorable.

Treated Like Royalty!
This was our fourth trip to Aurora. Our kids are teenagers/young adults and now insist on bringing their friends to this magical place. The villa is pristine and each individual suite is beautifully decorated. All of the amenities are up to date with wi-fi throughout the property. The staff will absolutely spoil you. There are 4 women: two chefs, a head housekeeper and a laundress. They are all incredibly warm and friendly, yet discrete and always professional. The best asset of the house is Margurita-the head chef. There is no better food on the island. Each meal on the picture perfect veranda is elegantly set with flowers and we never had the same place setting twice. The cuisine varied from traditional "Bajan" fare such as "flying fish" to delicious gourmet meals that reflect the blend of cultures of the island such as Shepherd's pie, curry, cheese soufflé, delicious bakes (a sort of Bajan form of a beignet), barbecue chicken, coconut cream pie, and pavlova for dessert. There were cocktails (the young adults were big fans of the famous rum punch) served every day at 5 pm with hot hors d'oeuvres. The staff was also great at packing lunches for us to take down to the beach which is a nice walk or a very quick car ride away. Just a heads up--there are two darling cats that have full run of the house. They are partial to Whiskas treats! We cannot wait to go back.
