First off I'd like to say that is Azalea cottage was wonderful, the property is amazing. It had lime trees, banana tree, pomegranate trees, plus beautiful flowers all around the property. It really was picture perfect just as you see in the ad. Rodney our caretaker went above and beyond to make sure that we had all our needs met he even took us for a drive around the island and showed us some great local spots to eat. The beach was just a walkaway down the road there was even a little store run by a great lady named Brenda just a few houses down if you needed anything. De outback restaurant was two blocks over and our cottage was located in between Holetown and Speightstown. The weather was wonderful every day with a few rainy times which was definitely welcome plus odd cloudy moment which also was definitely welcome because it was super hot. We met many wonderful people who have been to the Barbados over and over again and I will tell you we would not hesitate to go back and stay at Azalea cottage again. If you're looking for a nice quiet area the west side is the place to go. Thank you Karine for letting us stay at your cottage and a special thank you to Rodney for looking after us so well you've definitely become a great friend and we look forward to seeing you in the future. Barbados can be expensive if you let it but look for local restaurants local wagons with great ladies selling food in the back on the side of the road because that is where you get the best food the best service and the best prices. Thank you Barbados for showing us a great time hopefully will see you next year and thank you Karine we had a lovely time in your cottage we enjoyed every moment
We will definitely be returning to this amazing island and would have no hesitation returning to azelea cottage. Shane&Kim...
The house was immaculate and is decorated with esprit and a sense for convenience. It's in the midst of a grown, quite diverse neighbourhood with a pictoresque restaurant (De Outback) close by. Bus stop and beautiful beach are conveniently close and Speightstown is not without merits (don't miss out on the Arlington House Museum).
